A family calendar that remembers with you

Get the schedule out of your head.

Haven helps families carry less of the remembering behind the calendar. Capture plans with less typing, share the same schedule, spot conflicts, and get timely briefings and reminders.

One person often becomes the family’s living calendar.

They know the dentist is on Tuesday, soccer moved to Field 4, the water bottle is still in the dishwasher, and pickup will be tight because the drive takes twenty-five minutes. The events may be written down. The useful context still lives in one person’s head.

The work around the event

A shared calendar should share more than boxes on a grid.

Less work getting it in

Take a picture of the coach’s schedule or type “Dentist Tuesday at 3.” Review it, then put the information where the family can use it.

A plan both adults can carry

An invited partner can see and update the shared schedule through iCloud. Assign the child and the responsible parent on the event.

The right detail comes back

Morning briefings, conflict notices, event reminders, leave alerts, and pickup reminders reduce the need to keep checking.

A small example

From “I need to remember” to a family plan.

A birthday invitation comes home on paper. You photograph it instead of retyping it. During review, you assign the child and keep the address with the event. Haven can also create a separate reminder to get a gift two days before the party—and an RSVP reminder when the invitation includes a deadline. Your partner sees the shared plan. If another event overlaps, Haven can surface the conflict. Before it is time to go, a leave alert can bring back the timing and drive estimate.

The information did not disappear after capture. It became reusable at the moments when the family needed it.

Best for

Families ready to stop relying on one person’s memory.

One person is the dispatcher

You are tired of relaying tomorrow’s plan, the pickup plan, and every schedule change.

Plans arrive everywhere

Dates come through screenshots, paper, texts, links, and calendars already connected to the iPhone.

You want a focused tool

You need the family calendar to work harder, without moving family life into a dozen organizer tabs.

A focused promise

What Haven does—and does not—carry.

Haven can help carry schedule capture, shared visibility, assignments, conflicts, timing, and event preparation. It cannot make every family decision or remove all the work of parenting.

  • Haven is currently iPhone-focused, with partner sharing through iCloud.
  • Apple, Google, and Outlook calendars already on the iPhone can appear read-only in your Haven view. They are not shared with your partner unless you copy an event into Haven and save it.
  • Haven does not passively scan email, texts, school accounts, or team apps.
  • Families seeking chores, meal planning, and grocery management may prefer a broader household organizer.

Questions about mental load

Family calendar FAQ

How can a family calendar reduce mental load?

A family calendar can carry more of the remembering when it makes plans easy to capture, shares the same schedule with a partner, surfaces conflicts, and brings back timely details through briefings and reminders.

Can my partner add and see events in Haven?

Yes. An invited partner can share the Haven family calendar through iCloud, so both adults can see and update the plan.

Will Haven organize my email and text messages automatically?

No. Haven is permission-based. You choose the screenshots, photos, text, links, and calendar connections you want to share.

Is Haven an ADHD app?

Haven is a family calendar, not a medical or ADHD-specific product. Some families may find its capture, briefing, and reminder tools useful, but Haven does not make medical claims.

You should not have to remember everything.

Give the family schedule one calm place, then let useful details return when they matter.
