Haven vs Cozi: focus or all-in-one organization?

Cozi is a broad, established family organizer. Haven is a focused iPhone calendar built to turn scattered plans into a shared family view. Neither approach is right for every household.

Choose Cozi if

You want a free starting point, need Android or web access, or want calendars, shopping lists, to-dos, recipes, and meal planning together.

Choose Haven if

Your family uses iPhones and the main problem is getting plans out of messages, screenshots, flyers, and email—and making responsibility visible.

The biggest difference

Cozi tries to organize the whole household. Its calendar comes with grocery lists, to-dos, recipes, and meal planning. It works across mobile and web, and families can start with a free, ad-supported version.

Haven focuses on the family schedule. It is built for plans that arrive in texts, screenshots, flyers, links, and email, then helps the family see the plan and who is responsible. It is made for iPhone and uses iCloud.

If you want meals, lists, and the calendar together, Cozi does more. If the calendar itself is the part that keeps falling apart, Haven is more focused on that problem.

The honest answer

If Cozi's lists and meal-planning tools are part of how your household runs, Haven is not a one-for-one replacement. Cozi may be the better fit—especially for a mixed-device family or one that wants to start free.

If you rarely use Cozi's lists and meal-planning tools, and the hard part is getting plans onto the calendar and making sure everyone knows the plan, Haven's simpler approach may feel calmer.

If Haven sounds closer to the problem your family has, try it. If Cozi already works, keep it.
