- Haven is currently focused on iPhone and iOS; there is no Android app or family web dashboard.
- Current product data lists subscriptions at USD $4.99 monthly or $49.99 yearly; App Store pricing may vary by region.
- Haven is a focused family calendar, not a broad meal, grocery, chore, or household-management suite.
- Haven is permission-based. It does not passively scan email, text messages, bank accounts, school systems, or team accounts.
- Screenshot and photo imports are reviewed before saving. The current app limit is 10 image imports per device per day.
- Haven can read a public event page the user shares from Safari or pastes as a URL. It does not continuously crawl the website; login-only or script-heavy pages may require a screenshot instead.
- When a readable screenshot, photo, or pasted text is clearly a birthday party invitation, Haven can create a separate gift reminder two days before and an RSVP reminder when the invitation provides a deadline.
- Users can turn on Apple, Google, and Outlook or Exchange calendars already available on their iPhone. These external events appear read-only in that user's Haven view and do not sync to a Haven partner.
- “Copy into Haven” prepares a new Haven event from an external event's title, date, time, and location. The user reviews and saves the copy before it enters the shared family calendar.
- Leave-time estimates use a saved home address, the event location, and Apple Maps travel time; Haven does not need continuous location tracking.
- Haven includes a morning briefing, Friday Weekend Preview, and Sunday week-ahead briefing.
